Most art on the market is the same stock image, printed smooth onto a thousand canvases from the same catalogues. Ours is painted: a world-first technique we invented lays down professional, artist-grade acrylic, stroke by stroke.

The Acrylic Atelier
Our in-house team, and the artists we bring in.
Many Acrylic collections are conceived, designed and curated entirely by our in-house team at the Acrylic Atelier in Montreal, and every painted piece is finished there by hand.
When a project calls for a particular artist, we go to our network: someone local to the property, someone whose style or story fits the brief, or the artist you already have in mind. They create new work for it, or we select from their catalogue, and we handle the partnership.
We don’t design “in the style of” a named artist. If a client wants an artist’s look, they get the artist: licensed, credited and paid.

What is Acrylic?+
An art curation, creation, and manufacturing studio. We shape the direction with you, then produce original artwork in real acrylic paint on canvas using a technique we invented. Every piece is designed and curated at our studio in Montreal, every painted piece is finished by hand, and everything arrives framed and ready to hang, worldwide.
Who do you work with?+
Commercial and residential interior designers, hotels and hospitality groups, procurement teams, artists and creatives, and homeowners. The same studio handles a single statement piece or a full property.
What is the Designer Portal?+
Our platform for specifying original art. Tell the story of the space once, get art directions and artwork options staged room by room, edit with a written note, and order the whole collection on one quote and one PO. Starting a project is free; you only commit when you approve a quote.
Do you work with the trade?+
Yes, it's most of what we do. Designers, hospitality groups and procurement teams get trade pricing across the whole collection, shown right on the quote. Pricing scales with the tier (prints, embellished prints, original paintings), size, and framing.
Who actually makes the art?+
Our studio does. A proprietary technique builds each piece in real brushstrokes of artist-grade acrylic, not ink on paper. Our curators shape the direction with you, and our production team makes it real. Nothing is pulled from a catalogue.
Can we work with a specific artist?+
Yes. Our in-house art team can carry the whole project, or we'll work with an artist of your choice, with their consent. Bring your own, or draw on our roster of artists. Sourcing an artist from the project's own geography is one of our specialties.
What if it isn't right?+
You approve every piece, its framing, and its mockup before anything is made, and you can steer with a note at every step. If something arrives damaged or not as approved, we make it right.
